FORGIVENESS IS GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH. Research shows that the act of forgiveness, which is acceptance and letting go of repressed anger regarding ANY situation and/or person(s) helps speed up healing if injured or sick. Holding a grudge or anger regarding anyone or anything releases negative emotions that wear down the body and can build up into stress that manifests in a varying array of ailments. Whereas, the simple, but hard act of forgiveness releases positive hormones and endorphins into your cellular body that keeps you healthier, younger, and speeds up healing times to name a few. It doesn’t matter if others do the forgiving. What matters to your health is for you to do the forgiving. So simple, yet so hard for many of us stubborn people to do. It seems that many of us want to be right no matter the affects that holding onto those negative emotions has on our overall health. Think about it.
